Amy started her entrepreneurial career at a young age, with an Associates in Graphic Design and a dangerous amount of enthusiasm. Born into the home of a church-planter turned entrepreneur, there seemed no better way to live than with a head full of ideas and a healthy tolerance for risk. She has co-founded a marketing agency with her father, co-founded an international nonprofit with her father, and run businesses with her husband, parents, and sister. Family-owned business is integral to her work experience, as well as gifts-based leadership and Biblical foundations for marketplace vision. She has the opportunity to disciple countless entrepreneurs on a regular basis. She lives in Fredericksburg, VA with her husband and twin daughters.
We believe that every business has its fingerprints on the lives of every employee and customer, influencing life choices and relationships.
Every business is making brand disciples.
That influence extends beyond the immediate circle of employees and customers to vendors, contract workers, and the community with the same brand discipleship effect.
If your business is making brand disciples, then the question that must be asked is, "discipled to what?" Is the influence and the impact of the business something that leads to human flourishing, or does it lead somewhere else? Is the community around a business becoming healthier, stronger, and more closely knit? It's a responsibility that comes right out of the Sermon on the Mount.
The responsibility to build flourishing communities belongs to all of us.
The resources and opportunities of each business should produce consistent profit, but with the right strategy, they can also become fuel for community transformation. A nonprofit strategy for your business can turn goodwill into real leverage.
Your revenue engine can become your impact engine, too.
The investments you make in technology and business resources should always be matched with investments in people. The fabric of your team, and their unique shape will create the culture, and the ability to sustain impact.
Build a healthy team and culture by growing each individual and their unique shape as a unit.
